Elvis Presley was one of the best musicians of all time, so it’s no surprise that his music is still being copied. Even though many of the impersonations are embarrassingly bad compared to Elvis, every once in a while there is a performance that gives everyone in the audience chills.
As reported by Stories Of The Moment, this happened recently when 13-year-old Yaroslav Karpuk sang “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis on the reality TV show The Voice Kids Ukraine.
The deep, seductive voice sounded so much like Elvis’s that the audience was immediately captivated by the performance. One of the judges even turned around in his seat within 15 seconds of the performance to show that the performer should move on to the next round.
When the first judge lets him through, it’s clear that the singer’s family is very happy. As the show goes on, more judges join the group. In fact, the other three judges all push their buttons at the same time and spin around.
Once it’s clear he’s moving on to the next round, the contestant gets to choose which judge will help him along the way. Not surprisingly, this young man chooses to follow the judge whose chair he first spun
With his music, it’s clear that this teen has a bright future ahead of him. Watching this magical performance, you can now see how he got his start on the big stage. After you’ve seen the show, be sure to tell all of your friends and family about how great Elvis did.
