Grandma Dottie gave her granddaughter Cassie her old junior prom dress because she thought the little girl could use it to play dress up.

Cassie had other plans, but she didn’t know it yet. Cassie put her grandmother’s beautiful cream-colored dress away in a closet where it stayed hidden for many years after she got it from her.

Cassie took out the dress from the 1950s when she was a teenager getting ready for her high school graduation. It fit her perfectly.

Cassie decided to wear the same prom dress to her California high school graduation years later. The teenager liked vintage clothes because of her grandmother’s style, so the outfit was perfect for her.
