Roseanne Barr and Tim Allen were both famous for their sitcoms, but they also used to share a sound stage at ABC Studios in Carmichael, Nevada. That’s where two of the most popular TV shows of all time, “Roseanne” and “Home Improvement,” were filmed in front of live studio audiences.
About thirty years later, it looks like the two will be working together again, but this time on a project. It is said that Fox Entertainment has hired the two to write a new show for a more conservative audience.
Allen can do the job easily. He’s already done something sleepy. But Roseanne was fired because of it. This will be the first time in a long time that she sits down to write.
Allen said, “Rosie has great snacks, and what she lacks in natural talent and likeability can be made up for by writing.” We can give her a very attractive daughter to take the focus off of her. Maybe Gina Carano.”
The people in charge of the network hope that Allen is right. He has mostly been able to hide his extreme political views by playing roles that appeal to a wide range of people, like Santa Claus. However, Roseanne is known for being a mean, rude b*tch that nobody likes.
Will they be able to get over the bad reputation? If they show it right before Hannity on basic cable, it might work, but Netflix? It will be interesting to see if anyone wants to racism and chill. God bless the U.S.A.
