As a result, when he performed Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On” on The Voice’s stage, it didn’t take long for everyone to realize what his heart has been longing for.

Abu fled Afghanistan with his family in search of a better future and prospects after being born in a war-torn country.

Abu and his family later seek refuge in Belgium, where they have been for some time.

The 13-year-old boy loves to sing but he had to forgo his passion for a long time when war broke out in Afghanistan

He now has the opportunity to continue doing what he enjoys most—singing

Abu decided to show off his singing skills on “The Voice” through a heartbreaking rendition of “My Heart Will Go On” and he has impressed everyone including the judges!

According to the boy, he chose the song to perform for his audition stage because he can relate to the people who died in the Titanic disaster.

“The passengers on the Titanic were seeking a new life on a ship bound for another country.” This is very sad, in my opinion. “I want to demonstrate that I, too, fled in this manner,” the boy explained.

Abu made it to the finale and emerged as the runner-up in the contest.
