Lauren and Chris Meehan welcomed the twins at HCA Healthcare’s Rose Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. But when the nurses were told the names of their babies, everyone was amazed.

The parents and hospital staff were in for a big and pleasant surprise when they discovered that the twins had the same names as the two nurses who looked after the babies.

Lauren explained that the nurses at the maternity ward asked if they had names picked out yet. “We stopped and said: “Yeah, we liked Emma and Julia,” and the room kind of fell silent. They all looked around, they all started giggling. Because we found out that the two nurses who were going to take care of the babies when they arrived were both Emma and Julia.”
