Elon Musk, the new owner of Twitter, has made a bid of $37.5 billion to buy ABC from Walt Disney, the company that owns ABC. Even though the details of the deal are still unknown, it is thought that Disney has agreed to it.
Recently, Disney has been having trouble with its finances. This is mostly because woke culture and the LGBTQ community have been boycotting its theme parks. This caused fewer people to visit, so Disney needed more money to keep from going bankrupt.
In a recent press release, Elon Musk talked about the things that are most important to him as the new CEO of ABC. He said he wanted to restore balance to American media and fight against the influence of the far left and the Hollywood elite.
As a first step, he said he wanted to end “The View” and fire everyone on it, including Whoopi Goldberg. He plans to get rid of the show and replace it with a variety show for a wider audience. The show will have conservative figures, musicians, and conservative actors talking about the media and Hollywood.
It is still not clear how this change will affect the lawsuits against “The View,” but Kyle Rittenhouse has said that he might drop his lawsuit against Whoopi Goldberg if he is given the job of hosting the new show.
