Megyn Kelly, who used to work for Fox News, just ripped into Don Lemon, who was just demoted at CNN, on her Sirius XM podcast on Friday. She said that Fox News would have fired anyone who acted like Lemon did.

Lemon was recently caught screaming at his female co-host Kaitlin Collins for “interrupting” him while they were on air. It sounds like Lemon’s outburst was so harsh and mean that it scared the whole crew and made Collins cry.

The New York Post said, “According to two people with knowledge of the situation, 56-year-old Lemon went up to 30-year-old Collins after the show on Thursday, Dec. 8, and blasted her in front of staffers, saying she had “interrupted” him on air.”

Kelly made fun of Lemon on her show by showing a few clips of Collins interrupting Lemon during the show, which she said caused Lemon to scream. So, there were some breaks. When you co-host a show, things like this happen.

She went on to say that cohosts accidentally interrupting each other isn’t a big deal and just happens. She also said that yelling at that person, even if it gets on your nerves, is the worst thing you can do because it is very unprofessional. In her words:

“Bill Hemmer and I were co-hosts of a show for three years. I’ve been on the air with Bret Baier so many times that I’ve lost track. And sometimes someone irritates you. You don’t yell at them after the fact, though. You’ll say later, “Oh, we tripped over each other.” If you’re a pro, it’s all about what the audience wants.”

Not only that. Kelly kept going after Lemon about the story, insulting him and saying that men also talk over other people. In her words:

“If you are a jerk, you yell at the woman next to you and say it was her fault. Again, I’ve co-hosted more hours than I can remember with a lot of guys who have big egos, but that’s how it should be. And I’ve never, ever yelled at a co-host or had him yell at me.”

She then said that she and her other co-hosts have “had heated disagreements,” but that they never got out of hand and turned into screaming matches.

“I once had a heated argument with Chris Wallace. We never yell at each other, and you pick up on that right away. If someone ever yelled at me so loudly that I looked angry and ran out of the studio, I would fire that person. “I would get rid of that person.”

Kelly then pointed out that Lemon probably had yelled at a co-host before, saying:

“If what The New York Post says is true, Jesse, then I can tell you that it’s not the first time he’s done that. I’m going to take a chance and say that it has happened before. I guarantee that if The New York Post digs, another woman who co-anchors with him will come forward and say, “Me too.”
